Backstory:
Vera "V" O'Meara was born December 27th, 1990, in Avalon, California, at the Catalina Island Medical Center. Her hair was jet black, and she had striking violet eyes. Even as a child, she knew something about her was different. Quiet and distant, she kept to herself, never quite fitting in. As a teenager, Vera began seeing strange creatures—beings that would try to run from her when noticed. Eventually, after a series of unexplained events, she and her sister cornered their father, demanding answers. That night, he told them everything—about their bloodline, their race, and what Vera truly was: a reaper, tied to forces far beyond the human world.
The truth made high school even more difficult for Vera. Hiding her identity while dealing with the weight of what she was became a daily struggle. One of the only people who understood her was Byron—a reaper like her and a close friend of Erebus and Petra. Byron helped her through the chaos of awakening, and the two quickly became inseparable. After graduation, Vera,Petra, Erebus and Byron were recruited by the Varrant, an elite and ancient organization that handled supernatural threats and maintained the balance between life and death. Vera and Petra quickly rose through the ranks, traveling across Europe on deadly missions. Her reputation grew—efficient, silent, and merciless when needed. She became one of their most trusted operatives. Petra did as well till she fell pregnant and left to raise her family.
But everything changed when Byron went rogue. Once her closest ally, he began to unravel—disappearing on assignments, growing distant, and eventually murdering fellow Varrant agents one by one. When his betrayal became undeniable, the Varrant gave Vera the mission no one else could take: track him down and eliminate him. The hunt lasted months. When she finally found him, Byron was no longer the man she knew—corrupted by something dark, and utterly lost to madness. Their fight was brutal and deeply personal. In the end, she did what had to be done. She killed him.
The mission broke something in her. Killing Byron forced Vera to reevaluate everything—her loyalty, her role in the Varrant, and what she truly wanted. The weight of the organization’s rules and secrets became too much to carry. Not long after, she received a message from her cousin Otto Weber, calling her to Canada. Otto had a new plan—something off the books. He wanted her to lead a motorcycle club.
Without hesitation, Vera left the Varrant behind and relocated to Halifax, Nova Scotia. She checked into a hotel and went straight to the clubhouse to find out what Otto had planned. There, she met Brick—a cold and unwelcoming blutbad who didn’t seem impressed by her presence. But when Kita arrived, the purpose of Vera’s invitation became clear: Otto had chosen her to run the club.
In the months that followed, Vera transformed the MC from the inside out. Drawing from her past life, she brought structure, discipline, and a new edge to the organization. The club grew stronger under her leadership, more feared and respected. Vera no longer worked in the shadows of others. She had carved out her own space in a world that once tried to control her.
And as they say, the rest is history.
